Frequently Asked Questions

We work with candidates at every stage of the Army Officer application process.

Some people join right at the start to understand the process and build strong habits early. Others join when they’re preparing for Briefing or Main Board.

If you’re serious about joining the Army and hope to start within the next couple of years, we’d recommend getting started sooner rather than later. The earlier you begin preparing, the more time you have to develop before selection.

Our workshops are delivered live online by experienced coaches.

They’re designed to be interactive and practical, not lectures. You’ll be encouraged to get involved, ask questions, practice key skills and learn from both the coaches and other candidates.

We run two workshops each week, usually on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 18:30. The same session is delivered twice, so you only need to attend one each week.

The fitness programme is delivered through an easy-to-use training app.

Every session includes clear instructions, coaching notes, and demonstration videos so you know exactly what to do and why you’re doing it.

The programme is built around the key areas needed for military preparation, including running, strength, conditioning and overall fitness. You can also fit the sessions around your work, university or other commitments.

No. While most of our candidates are preparing for Army Officer Selection, we also support people applying to the RAF, Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army Reserve, Professionally Qualified Officers, and other military leadership pathways.

Although every selection process is slightly different, they all assess similar qualities such as leadership, communication, confidence, teamwork and decision-making.

This depends on your current level and how close you are to selection.

As a guide, you’ll complete your fitness training, attend one live workshop each week and spend some additional time preparing through reading, current affairs and personal development.

The candidates who get the most from the programme are usually the ones who make preparation part of their weekly routine.

No, anyone who guarantees a pass is being unrealistic.

Army Officer Selection is competitive, and the final decision is made by the assessors on the day. What we can do is help you understand what’s expected, improve the areas you can control and arrive at selection feeling confident, prepared and ready to perform at your best.
